Dear Holy Trinity Community,

Praise God! It is with great joy and gratitude that I announce the hiring of our new Principal, Mr. Peter Moshinsky, who will be joining Holy Trinity Catholic School for our coming 2026/7 school year.

Mr. Moshinsky brings with him a wealth of experience in public education, having served for over 15 years in school leadership, administration, and counseling. Most recently, he has been serving as Director of Human Resources for the St. Helens School District, where he has overseen recruitment, staffing, and organizational development. Prior to that, he served as principal of Harvey Clarke Elementary School in the Forest Grove School District, where he led a thriving school community of nearly 500 students and fostered strong instructional leadership and team development. His earlier work as an assistant principal and school counselor reflects a lifelong commitment to supporting students, families, and educators in meaningful and transformative ways .

Beyond his professional qualifications, Mr. Moshinsky is a man of faith who understands and embraces the mission of Catholic education. In his own words, he sees leadership as helping a community in our mission to “Know God, Grow in faith, and Go out to serve others." He values relationships, servant leadership, and forming students not only academically, but spiritually as well. He and his wife Kathy have been married for over 30 years, have raised their children in the Catholic faith, and are active in parish life, which further reflects the depth of his commitment to Catholic education. He is very excited to come to Holy Trinity and continue building up our faith, our sense of community, and supporting academic excellence which are the trademarks of our Catholic school.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Parish Leadership Team and our School Interview Team for their dedication, time, and discernment throughout this process. Their thoughtful collaboration and prayerful consideration have been instrumental in helping us identify the right leader for our school.

At the same time, we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our current principal, Dr. Anne Erwin. Dr. Erwin generously came out of retirement and gave us two-and-a-half years of faithful and dedicated service during a critical time in our school’s life. Her leadership, stability, and care for our students and staff have been a true blessing. While she will be stepping down from the role of principal, we are grateful that she will continue to serve our school community in the coming year, particularly in assisting with accreditation and ongoing development efforts. We are deeply thankful for her continued presence and wisdom.

Please join me in welcoming Mr. Peter Moshinsky to our Holy Trinity community and in offering our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Anne Erwin for her extraordinary service.

May God continue to bless our parish and school as we strive to Know, Grow, and Go in faith together.

Blessings,

Fr. William Holtzinger
